Baby Products – Choosing Graco or Cosco Deals?
I have been a dad now for almost three years. It all started with a dinner. This is how I knew she is the one and only for me. Needless to say we got married after a year and soon after we were pregnant. Was I prepared for all that? No, why lie, I was not. Was I happy? Sure I was. And amazed. I have always considered that a life without children must be pretty empty. It may be because I came from a large family, with brothers and cousins, with aunts and uncles and great-great parents and cats.
My point is that although I wanted a successful career I also needed a home filled with children. And so did my wife. Why am I saying all this to you? Because I realize that more people like me have or are going to be placed in my shoes. So why not give you a hint of what you will be facing at a certain point of your new-family life.
Being pregnant meant a lot of changes. Doctor’s appointments, work schedule changes, interior redecorating, eating frenzies, spare-time better management. And a lot and when I say a lot, that is exactly what I mean, a lot of searching for a better baby product followed by immediate purchase. Which sometimes was followed by immediate refund, but hey, life is not perfect!
And when I say baby products I mean the whole deal: baby furniture, baby clothes, baby toys, baby food, baby strollers, baby diapers, baby books, baby books for moms, baby doctors.
After realizing that my spare time was not going to be enough for the strange eating habits women tend to get while being pregnant and for running from store to store to get an idea of my wife or I wanted, I quickly turned towards the internet potential. Today’s search engines would find almost anything for you. Add an instant messaging device, not a cell phone because “you are supposed to be working not talking to the wife! Send my regards, I know she is pregnant but she will be fine, I have three kids myself and I am still able to manage this business! Now go back to work!” So as I was saying, a good search engine and an instant messaging device at work will do wonders for finding some, not all because you will never stop buying, of the things you need for your future kid.
After a few months I still wasn’t able to choose between Graco baby products or Cosco baby products. I might have preferred one or the other for a certain object but I simply wasn’t able to stick with the one or the other. And I was in fact, or better said, I still am a half-guru in buying online products for children. As a matter of fact the other half-guru wasn’t able to choose either. She is, as we speak tucking in my precious daughter. While a Graco baby product is monitoring them with live video and sound stream so I can see them at any time.
So if you were looking for a straight answer, this one or that one, well you won’t find it here. I can only say that no matter what brand, you will still be getting a lot of baby products. No matter if your baby is 2 months old or just getting married. Well for the second event I am not sure if either Cosco or Graco have any specific products, but I haven’t browsed them all yet. Just a half-guru talking here!
